Buddy Dive Resort Bonaire is a dive resort situated on the Caribbean Island of Bonaire. The resort comprises 77 condos with a total of 218 beds.  We have our own car rental fleet, diving school, restaurant, bar, swimming pools and laundry. Our team is in search of a;

Car Rental Supervisor / Front Office Assistant

Job Description:

• Assist and replace the front office manager with all operational activities including; reception, housekeeping, car rental and carwash;
• Effectively book and process car reservations by; maximizing turnover, communicate with the reservations team, contact other car rentals when car fleet in booked out, drive booked vehicles to the requested location;
• Manage all administrative duties by filling out forms, checking driver’s license, processing insurance papers, collecting deposits and processing payments;
• Monitor the state of the vehicles and plan car repairs and maintenance with diesel engineer or local garage;
• Resolve or refer all guests’ complaints or problems in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service;
• Supervise car washers and truck drivers;
• Order supplies for the department.

Profile:

• Minimum level of education MBO;
• Excellent people skills and the ability to think/act quickly;
• Knowledge and/or experience in basic car mechanics is an advantage;
• Able to work under pressure and non-sense approach;
• Be able to work flexible hours and/or work on the weekends;
• Able to work in a team environment;
• Fluent English. Dutch, Spanish and/or Papiamento is an advantage;
• Driver’s license B.
